What to Expect During Your Assessment 

• A brief Q & A with City staff to determine water efficiency goals and needs for your business. 
• An evaluation of each water-using fixture in your facility to determine its relative efficiency and respective water use.
• On-site installation of high efficiency, WaterSense® labeled fixtures including faucet aerators, showerheads, and pre-rinse spray valves at ZERO cost to you. What to Expect After Your Assessment

Following the completion of your water use assessment, our staff will take action to help your business achieve meaningful water savings. This will include:

•  A customized report featuring tailored recommendations to increase water efficiency in your workplace, information on available water fixture rebates, and a customized return on investment spreadsheet. 
• A follow up meeting with Water Conservation Staff to discuss the results of your report, answer questions, and help you determine the next steps in order to increase water efficiency in your workplace.
• Employee trainings and/or water conservation presentations to mobilize staff participation.
• Unlimited access to trained City staff who are available to answer questions and assist your business at any time.
• Free advertising on the Water Conservation Division website. We want our community to know that you're doing your part to conserve water!

Does your business have an irrigation system connected to City water?

If so, you are eligible to participate in one or all of the City's many outdoor rebate programs. Apply today to receive cash back for installing water efficient landscape and irrigation equipment on your property!

Want to upgrade your irrigation system, but not sure where to start? Call us at 406-582-3220 or complete an online interest form to get scheduled for your FREE Sprinkler System Assessment. City staff will evaluate your sprinkler system, recommend needed repairs and upgrades, and provide you with a customized watering schedule to meet the unique needs of both your business and your landscape.

When drought restrictions are in effect,

• Hotels, motels, and other lodging establishments will be required to display signage for guests indicating that linens will be laundered only by request.
• Restaurants will be required to serve water only by request.

By utilizing free City signage, you can mobilize your guests to know that by supporting your establishment, they are doing their part to conserve water.
